Our Approach
We believe that future planning should be intentional, personal, and grounded in truth. Our approach blends professional insight with Christ-centered mentorship, offering families both expertise and personal investment.
-
We bring years of experience working with students, families, and admissions offices – providing a deep understanding of what colleges value, how applications are evaluated, and how to help students stand out authentically. Our advising is structured, data-informed, and rooted in best practices that have guided thousands of students to successful outcomes.
-
Faith is woven into everything we do. Virtue helps students intentionally reflect on their calling and character as they prepare for the next chapter. This may look like conversations about purpose, prayer support when welcomed, and helping families evaluate colleges through a faith-aligned, values-based lens.
-
Every student’s story is unique – so our guidance is never one-size-fits-all. We take time to know each student deeply: their strengths, interests, struggles, goals, and passions. We partner with families to set clear plans and tangible action-items, communicate consistently, and provide the structure needed to reduce related stress and anxiety and build confidence.
-
College and future readiness is not just about applications and getting into college – it’s about formation. We strive to equip students with life skills such as time management, communication, self-advocacy, perseverance, and intentional reflection. Through values-based mentorship, Virtue strives to help students cultivate confidence, integrity, and the formation of healthy, virtuous habits as they prepare for the transition to adulthood.
-
We believe students flourish when they understand who they are and where they’re going. We guide them through career exploration, major selection, and long-term planning – helping them connect their strengths and God-given gifts to meaningful pathways. This purposeful approach leads to stronger applications and wiser, more joyful choices after high school.
-
The college process and life after high school can initially feel overwhelming for both students and their families. We see Virtue Advising and Mentorship as a trusted partner – walking with families through each step, prioritizing a healthy mindset, reducing anxiety, and providing the clarity needed for confident decision-making.
